BNC YA BISAC code webinar

The future is now! It's 2016 and while we still don't have (real) hoverboards, we're getting something better: distinct BISAC subject codes for young adult books. The Book Industry Study Group (BISG) released their latest code list at the end of 2015 with 446 new codes for Young Adult Fiction (YAF) and Young Adult Non-Fiction (YAF) titles and an implementation date of Jan. 31, 2016.

The new codes will help every stage of the supply chain . To better understand what's happening, why, when, and how to get ready, we hosted: Connie Harbison, Chair of BISG's BISAC Subject Committee and Director at Baker; BookNet's own biblio-wizard Tom Richardson; and Beatrice Mariani, Masterdata Team Manager at Indigo Books & Music.
